Welcome to Lydeard St Lawrence Community
Primary School. The word 'community' in our name is very important
to us. We are lucky enough to be situated in the heart of a rural
community. The close community of our school supports and nurtures
all its members - adults and children alike, and an important
part of our role as educators is to enable the children to take
their place in the wider world.
In common with many thriving organisations we recognise and build
on past achievements, embrace change and plan to improve for the
future. Our aim is to help our children become thoughtful, responsible
healthy and informed young citizens in a safe, happy and caring
environment. They are our future and our world will soon be in
their hands.
We hope you find this website helpful. You will find details of
school term dates, important dates for your diary, school newsletters,
many photos of school events, projects, visits and class work.
The website also provides the important documents including the
school prospectus and school policies. The site will be kept up
to date and topical so please visit the site regularly.
