At Ladybirds Pre-School, we aim to offer children the best care and education possible. We want our children to feel happy and secure, to enjoy spending time at nursery, make friends and enjoy exciting and engaging activities that inspire and give them the confidence to achieve their potential.
Ladybirds Pre-school runs sessions for children from the ages two to school age. Operating Monday - Thursday from 8.30 - 14.45. Ladybirds children are also able to access the school's breakfast club, from 8.00, and after school provision until 17.00.
Ladybirds is set within the grounds of Lydeard St Lawrence Primary School, offering an idyllic rural setting with access to a range of fantastic outside learning environments, such as a recently developed trim trail, grass playing fields and secret garden complete with mud kitchen.
The Pre-School is managed by the School Governors and Headteacher. Day to day management is with our dedicated pre-school team, which is lead by Ali Morley supported by Michelle Beer.
The pre-school works closely with our outstanding early years provision run by Miss Lydia Nelson, the current Early years Foundation Stage teacher. The close relationship ensures consistency across the provision, enabling children to make the most of the educational opportunities available.
