Morning and After School Clubs
At Lydeard St Lawrence School we provide wrap around care on site. Morning club runs
from 7.45AM to 8.45AM every morning and our after school provision runs until 5.00PM children are welcome to bring their own breakfast or snack to the clubs.
These clubs are run exclusively for children at Lydeard St Lawrence Primary School led by Miss Granger, who is supported by members of our teaching staff and external providers for activity-based after school clubs.
Clubs vary termly with sports, forest school, gardening, art and craft, reading, SPaG & phonics, SATs, Maths and Fizz Pop Science all planned for this year.
We aim to provide a relaxing and fun environment that is flexible and cost effective.

We aim to provide regular and reliable wrap around care at Lydeard St Lawrence. However, occasionally due to statutory staff training or unforeseen circumstances we are unable to offer this provision. Parents will be given advance warning to enable them to make alterative arrangements.

Primary Sports and Education
Our Sports Leader, Mr Jarad, runs a weekly sports club every Friday at school; this runs from 3.30pm until 5.00pm and can booked directly via the school office. From January 2024, bookings and payments need to be made directly through their website.

Our Forest school specialist, Claire, runs a weekly forest school club every Tuesday at school; this runs from 3.15pm until 5.00pm and can be booked directly through their website.
